CLIMBER will be responsible to:

Be punctual and reliable.
Demonstrate knowledge of knots, ropes, and rigging devices used in tree trimming and removal operations.
Be familiar with electrical hazards and operating procedures when in proximity to electrical conductors.
Knowledge of rescue procedures in emergency
Possess maneuverability at great heights in adverse weather conditions.
Must possess strength, agility, good balance and depth perception.
Be able to hear verbal directions from distance.
Ability to ascend and descent from ropes using a saddle.
Know first aid techniques, and enforce safe practice.
Trim and remove trees with or without aerial lift device.
Assist in preparing trucks with material for day’s work.
Assist in maintaining and monitoring tools and daily use equipment.
Improve own professional skills with observing and practicing climbing and tree maintenance.
Willing to assist other team members in daily work.
Taking a leadership role when needed.
Load and unload trucks with over 25 lbs. of logs and brush.
Feed brush into chipper.
Work on ground using chainsaws, pruners and loppers.
Operate trucks and equipment, with valid drivers license.
Inspect and be responsible for working condition of tools.
Safeguard self and others from hazards in work area.
Perform related work as needed.
