GROUNDPERSON

Load and unload trucks with over 25 lbs. of logs and brush.
Feeds brush into chipper.
Uses hand lines to lower limbs and equipment.
Keep work area picked-up and orderly.
Carries lays out and stows material, tools and equipment at work site.
Works on ground using saws, pruners and loppers.
Drives trucks or operates other equipment as directed.
Services trucks and equipment.
Keeps trucks and equipment in neat and orderly fashion.
Reports the need for repairs on truck/equipment to crew leader.
Safeguards other employees from hazards in and around work area.
Helps enforce on-site job safety practices.
Performs related job tasks as assigned.
Be able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
Must possess valid drivers license.
Must be able to hear verbal directions from a distance.
Must be punctual and reliable.
Must be ready and willing to assist other crewmembers in all aspects of daily activities.
Assist in preparing trucks and equipment for days work.
